Symbiote Systems is a one man marine electrical and 12V power systems business in Airlie Beach, owned and run by Rob James. When you call, you speak to Rob. When the work gets done, Rob is the one doing it.
Rob James
Rob has over 19 years of hands-on experience from the mining, civil and mechanical industries. That work is hard on equipment and unforgiving of shortcuts, and it is where his standards for wiring, terminations and fault finding come from. He now works full time on marine electrical, Victron Energy systems and 12V power for 4WDs and caravans in the Whitsundays.

Rob has completed Victron Energy's official technical training program, with certificates issued by Victron Energy across the equipment he designs and installs. Training completed covers:

Symbiote Systems is based in Airlie Beach and works across the Whitsunday coast, on the water at Coral Sea Marina, Port of Airlie and Shute Harbour, and on land from Cannonvale to Proserpine. There is no workshop and no counter. Rob comes to the boat, the vehicle or the van, wherever it is.
