Dual Battery Systems
Design and installation for touring and work vehicles. DC-DC charging, lithium or AGM auxiliary batteries, and battery monitoring, sized for the fridge, lights and gear you run.
DC-DC Chargers
Redarc, Victron Orion and similar DC-DC chargers fitted so the auxiliary battery charges properly from the alternator and from solar.
Lithium Upgrades
Lithium auxiliary battery upgrades for 4WDs and campers, with charging, protection and monitoring to suit. Voltage sensitive relay (VSR) and battery isolator setups.
Solar & Monitoring
Solar panel inputs and solar regulators, battery monitors and shunts so you know how much power is in the battery and how long it will last.
Fridge, Lighting & Outlets
Fridge circuits, camp lighting, USB and 12V outlets wired with the right cable and fusing. Inverter installation on the 12V side.
Anderson Plugs, Winch & Compressor
Anderson plugs on the vehicle and trailer, and winch and air compressor circuits wired to carry the load.
Caravan & Camper 12V
Batteries, charging, solar and 12V wiring for caravans and campers. Rob comes to the holiday park you are staying at.
Trailer & Breakaway Wiring
Trailer plugs and trailer light repairs, boat trailer wiring after salt damage, and breakaway system testing and wiring.
The same Victron gear that goes on boats
Orion DC-DC chargers, SmartSolar MPPT controllers, Smart Lithium batteries and SmartShunt monitoring work the same way in a 4WD or caravan as they do on a boat. Rob installs the system and sets it up on your phone so you can see the battery state at camp.

Do you do general auto electrical, like my car will not start?
No. Rob works on 12V power systems for 4WDs, campers and caravans: dual batteries, charging, lithium, solar and 12V wiring. For no-starts, alternators and general vehicle faults you will need a general auto electrician.
Can you set up my 4WD for free camping?
Yes. Dual battery, DC-DC charging, lithium, solar and monitoring, sized for your fridge, lights and gear.
I am travelling and staying at a caravan park. Can you come to me there?
Yes. Rob regularly works on vans and campers at the parks along Shute Harbour Road in Cannonvale, Jubilee Pocket and Flametree, and out at Proserpine, Conway Beach, Dingo Beach and Hydeaway Bay.
Can you fit gear I have already bought?
Usually, yes. Rob checks it suits what you want to run, then fits it with the right cable, fusing and protection.
